You and your crew will go out into a community and work on a resident’s house, and through this experience you have a chance to not only take a damaged house and make it new, but a torn or sad heart and help make it whole again. Your devotion and outpouring of love will help someone who might question why a bunch of teenagers would want to give up their time and money to do something to help a stranger. They find out it is because of God’s love!

Phil Joel was the bass player and support vocalist for the Newsboys for 12 years. In 2005 he sensed a call to begin a ministry called deliberatePeople. His latest project

“The New Normal” is an album whose songs will show the heart of the Father to those who listen to it. It also reflects what this generation can accomplish in its own day, through the understanding of the Father's heart and through the power He has bestowed to raise the bar and establish a “NEW NORMAL” that is defined by the Word and not by going along with that today's society establishes as acceptable.
