For over 18 years, New Zealander Phil Joel has been a mainstay in Contemporary Christian music with his upfront role as bass player and vocalist for the Newsboys, along with the music of his six solo CDs. Over the last five years, he’s had the opportunity to lead worship with ministries such as Focus on the Family, Winter Jam, Acquire the Fire, Harvest Crusades, Men At The Cross and many churches throughout the world. TeenServe is super excited to welcome Phil back for his Seventh year leading us in worship!

And our 2018 speaker is… Nate Garrett!!!
We are very pleased to announce that our 2018 worship speaker will be Nate Garrett.
Nate is a youth evangelist with a passion to live out 2 Timothy 2:2
And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.
In other words: To Make Disciples who Make Disciples who Make Disciples.
He uses humor, truth, and object lessons to communicate to teens and adults on their level. Nate understands that the need to reach teens is urgent as statistics show that we are losing close to 90% of students in college.
A little over six years ago God began to open the doors for Nate to speak to teens and adults outside of his local church. God has since grown this into a full-time evangelistic, teaching and equipping ministry. Organizations and churches have booked Nate for camps, school assemblies, D-Now weekends, conferences, trainings, retreats, chapels, concerts, revivals and many other events in eleven states and in two countries. He also currently teaches “Apologetics” and “Biblical Worldview” at Liberty Praparatory Christian Academy in Mooresville, NC.
Nate studied Biblical Studies at Liberty University before marrying the love of his life. Nate and his wife Debbie have been married for almost 14 years. They live in North Carolina with with their two children Luke and Leia (yes, like the Star Wars characters).
They all hope to join us in Minnesota and Iowa this summer!
