And our 2023 speaker is… Nate Garrett!!!
We are very pleased to announce that our 2023 worship speaker will be Nate Garrett.
Nate is a youth evangelist with a passion to live out 2 Timothy 2:2
And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.
In other words: To Make Disciples who Make Disciples who Make Disciples.
He uses humor, truth, and object lessons to communicate to teens and adults on their level. Nate understands that the need to reach teens is urgent as statistics show that we are losing close to 90% of students in college.
Nate has been in youth ministry for over 20 years in three different denominations. He is an ordained minister who has served in the Baptist Church, The Church of the Nazarene and as an interim youth pastor in a Foursquare Church. How could someone work with three very different denominations? Because he doesn’t believe we should major on the minors, and that the GOSPEL is what matters most.
Nate studied Biblical Studies at Liberty University before marrying the love of his life. Nate and his wife Debbie have been married for over 20 years. They live in North Carolina with with their two children Luke and Leia and Ezra (yes, like the Star Wars characters). They all hope to join us in Iowa this summer!
