Your youth group will arrive early, Sunday afternoon (Registration is from Noon until 2:00 p.m.) to get settled into your “deluxe” accommodations in a local school. Each person will get enough room for a cot and/or single air mattress. The first program begins at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Meals are served in the school cafeteria, with the exception of lunch, which you will eat at your worksite. Sunday evening you will meet the people on your crew.
Each day after breakfast, your crew will head to your worksite. In addition to working on your resident’s home, you will be participating in crew devotions, eating lunch as a crew and spending quality time with your resident(s). All crews return to the school between 3:30 and 4:00 p.m. The afternoon is available for individual free time activities or youth group time. Then after a great dinner at the school, you will get to take part in life-changing evening programs filled with powerful praise, dynamic teaching, testimonies and pictures from the day, and of course, lots of fun! During the evening free time there will be a “coffee house” with beverages, nachos, popcorn, games and some fun, sometimes wacky contests that you can participate in.
On Wednesdays, we only work for half of the day. The afternoon will be spent with your youth group doing whatever you desire. We will supply you with ideas for fun ways to spend the afternoon! You will also be free to enjoy supper at a local restaurant.
Friday night we will have two programs. The first is an outreach event where you are encouraged to invite your residents. This is a final time of fellowship and is evangelistic in nature. Finally, we end our camps with a closing program, which begins at 9:30 p.m. The Friday night late program is an awesome time of testimonies, worship, and debriefing. Saturday morning we will provide breakfast and then we’ll say our good-byes.
